These guys have the best building consultants & customer service reps, as well as one of the few manufacturers with great Pre-engineered metal buildings that last for years! They also help you out with finding erectors in your area if you don’t know one already! Will be contacting them again for any future PEMB projects!
Very helpful I did 2 projects one in Florida with a 250 mile wind load and one in Oklahoma city they helped me with the concrete and the erection,the shipping was perfect and they went out of their way even on the anchor bolts
We are really happy with the building – it is very well designed and of good quality. Even the contractor was surprised at how everything lined up and he didn’t have to re-drill any holes! The new building sustained the storm and didn’t have one failure. The wind was actually hitting the front with the two large pull down doors and their integrity maintained. I honestly thought when I went home from headquarters today that it would be destroyed. I have to give the engineers kudos for a job well done!!!!! One hell of a building John. Hurricane Irma, 130 mph sustained and 155 mph gusts head on. Still standing like a champ!
I wanted to share my experience with you after Hurricane Maria hit Puerto Rico late last year. I visited all the buildings I bought from Universal Steel, about 12 buildings. At that time I thought maybe not all of them survived and I would find them collapsed or torn apart. (As you all know that Hurricane Maria is the deadliest Caribbean hurricane since Hurricane Jeanne in 2004 to hit Puerto Rico.) In reality all the buildings remained intact and stood strong like the first day they were erected. The devastation around the buildings was unprecedented. Other structures in the same areas did completely collapse or had very serious damage. The first one I bought from you is approximately 18 years old, erected in the center of the island and remains intact and standing strong. Thank you for your business and the amazing quality of Universal Steel’s structures.
My family is safe, and both USA building houses are intact. The USA building has been through two catagory 4 hurricanes, and your building houses held up like a champ.
